PT MJIS is processing Iron ore with Rotary Kiln technology to produce Sponge Iron, named as Iron Rotary Kiln, as a raw material of steel making.

PT MJIS was established in June 9, 2008. It is a joint venture between PT Krakatau Steel and PT Aneka Tambang.

PT MJIS is a company basis in processing iron ore using Rotary Kiln Technology with coal as energy which is specially designof processing local raw materials.
Products
Main Product of MJIS is Sponge Iron, named as Iron Rotary Kiln (IRK). This IRK have 2 specification, IRK 1 with product size 3~25 mm, and IRK 2 with product size < 3 mm. Others product are Return Char and Fly Ash.
